I bought mine abot 4 years ago. Engine has lots of hours and runs fine. If you change the oil about every 100 hrs or every 6 months and keep CLEAN fuel it should run many 1,000's of hours. I have a PTO that can be disengaged. I am not using the PTO as I have a kelly Back hoe on the rear end. Love the machine.

Does anyone know the correct typ of battery this tractor is suppose to use? Crank power and stuff? I just bought one of these tractors and they had a car battery in it. Also is it suppose to charge the battery when it is running? Mine does not seem to be charging if it does

I did put a new battery in and just used a car battery. Mine does charge the battery. The key must be on for this to happen. I once turned the key off by mistake and ran it for many hours and the battery went down. It was the old battery. It does seem to like a good battery so I would put in as large a battery as you can. I kinda went too small i think. Really need to use the glow plug to get it started.
