Haying not happening here for a little while. We just got a 9.5" FLOOD.

That's a good rain there,we haven't got much. This field was going to be shredded and I told the guy,I wonted it...

My BIL got up 10 acres of hay this week. I got up 144 bales of rye on a couple of acres on Thursday. It was cut on Monday. It has rained about 3" since yesterday so we won't be making hay for a few days now.

I shredded about 50A of hay field this week.. should say I shredded weeds,, I have had a few good showers,, but not enough for my jigs.. this last two years have been bad on the fields.. That rye field looks good compared to what I shredded.. Lou

It looked a little light - for 1st cutting - a milkweed here and there... bet them cows will eat every stem, though! :thumbsup:

Need to shift that Jet Stream down your ways a bit... Cold and wet up here. Skiff of snow last night and still on the ground @ 10am. Can't even fertilize the fields.

My neighbor's oat hay looked good this year with only 15 inches of rain since planting last Oct.
