Honda EX5500 Generator
Can anyone help? I have a Honda EX5500 generator that i am getting good 110 voltage through the 110 receptacles but I am not getting 220 volts across each leg through the 220 receptacle. I do read 110 on each leg but when I read between each leg I get nothing. Can anyone help? Thanks Billy billyadamson69@gmail.com

Have you looked for breakers and switches? How did you determine no 220? Meter?

If you're getting 110V from each leg to neutral, but not seeing 220V between the legs, it suggests to me that the two legs have the same phase. They should be 180 deg out of phase.

With the genny running, plug in a drill into the 110V outlet.
Put the drill into reverse, and run it that way for a couple of minutes.
Stop the drill, and remove it from the outlet.
Re-check with a volt meter to see if your are now getting 220-235 V.
