I really can't fault your logic . New technology does have faults at times . But having said that , my 562 has been faultless ,and I'm expecting the 550 to follow in its footsteps . If they both fail , I'll have learned a lesson in becoming a test pilot for Husq.
The 562 did replace the 357. And I have to say, Husky got this one right. I really like the 357 and will not get rid of it, but the 562 has more power, cuts faster and is a lot smoother.I understand that and i accept it I just wanted a 346xp before it was gone. Im working on a two or three saw plan. the 562xp is def. in the running for some of the large wood i process. I have also thought about the 357 and the 372. I think the 562 is the replacment for the 357. Its good to hear that you are well pleased with you 562.
I think I would be all for the auto tune if they would give you the diagnostic software to go with it. Does any one have the software?
The 372 is a great saw, but the 562 is smaller, lighter and is very close with power.
