Hydraulic lines
I am looking to replace the lins on my MF 202
It has 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 lines
Most have a male NTP at one end and a male oring on the other end that screws right into the cylinder. Looking at the hose at suplus supply, it seems that for a give size hose the oring fillting can come in diffferent sizes ...... 4M, 5M etc, how can I determine which size I need ?

Re: Hydraulic lines
Take the old one with you, and ask them to match it.
The fittings I have bought had what they were stamped on the outside too.

Re: Hydraulic lines
Like Mith said most hydraulic hose fittings are marked somewhere. Not all but most. If all else fails take the old ones with you and have new ones made.

Re: Hydraulic lines
If you want to order online here is a size chart for fittings.
You will probably need calipers to get a close enough measurement to tell one size from the other.

The dash size method is just based on 16th -08 = 8/16 or 1/2.Steve...
