Default mystery hydraulics

can anyone tell me what i just bought and using it on an old L185?

You bought a 3-spool valve...as far as using it you will first have to determine whether it is OPEN or CLOSED center. Not sure what the other thing is by the pictures though...

The other thing might be a flow control but it would need one more line.

i'm bidding on two 2x8 cylinders as well, hoping to cobble together a top and tilt set up eventually

That 3 spool looks to have float detents on the first and third spool. I also think the other item appears to be a flow control vlave.

I will assume the detents are a good thing-what would be the purpose of the flow control valve? Sorry, totally ignorant of hydraulics-just impulse buying
is 150 out of line?
