I have a 2006 Kubota MX5000 with LA852 FEL. I want to add another hydraulic control so I can operate a grapple. The dealer quated me a price os $1700+ installed. I thought this was supposed to be around an $800 job.
Has anyone with an MX5000 added a 3rd control out there? |

Give WR Long a call and talk to Nelson, he will set you up with a electric-over-hydraulic kit for under $600. This will include a new joystick handle, hose, QD's and a bulkhead to mount on your loader.

When I bought my new Mahindra 5525 last month, the dealer installed triple remotes ![]() Cost: $750 installed. I traded a 2005 Kubota B7510HST/FEL as part of the 5525 deal. So I know how pricy add-on remotes can be for Botas. But $1700 for a single add-on remote is pure BS. Search for TBN threads on adding remotes to Kubotas and do the job yourself. |

As it turns out the dealer I was talking to didn't understand what I needed. I just needed to add one remote and he thought that I already had two when I don't have any. So the price is $743. Sure beats the heck out of 1700+
