Default Valve questions

I finnaly got some litterature about the valve but still have some questions. Can you fellas look over this and tell me what I have. Then I will likely have a few more questions.

Couldn't open your pdf. I think I remember-some kind of ebay deal? nice looking valve. I got a Hussco 5000-C series(off junk fork lift) triple stack 2 double acting&1 single acting(I think? I hope) I got same questions about my valve too. But I'm too stupid to post pics Going to take mine(when I get a round-tuit) to local mach/hyd shop w/questions and get a few fittings & maybe hoses. theyr'e a little high$ but they forgot more than I will ever know about hyd stuff. countryside hyd shop is invaluble in my opinion. GOOD LUCK

The link works for me. I went to the chapter on "work sections". That is where you need to go to determine what you have.

Without more information on the physical thing you got, more detail is not possible. Sorry, but there are just too many options possible!

John_bud, If thats the case, then Rio should get his answers in that chapter and maybe repost his actual valve pics. I wasn't as lucky or smart enough finding pdf w/work sections on my Husco 5000-c valve. was made in England?/not made anymore/proprietory info/special made (I guess for forklift mfg.?) yada yada.

A lot of Husco stuff is made for equipment manufacturers. Husco won't sell anything for it, you have to go thru the equipment manufacturer it was made for. I have gone thru this with Husco valves made for John Deere. Just my opinion now, but I would absolutely never buy a John Deere just because of all the proprietary stuff they have on their hydraulics. A customer of mine brought in a Husco valve last week from a JD bulldozer. Spools were sticking. He wanted a new valve. Husco told me to pound salt and go thru JD. (Not in those words) The new valve from JD was $600 per spool, there were 3 spools, do the math. I could get a valve that was close, but not close enough to work, for $200. For the whole valve!

There should be a tag on the valve with #'s. E-mail Parker with this info, they will tell you exactly what you have. Looking at the catalog you attached, there are way too many options to determine anything. To give an example, looking at your attachment is the equivalent of looking at a brochure for 2008 Chevy trucks and trying to figure out what options your truck has without being able to see it.
