Hi, I just broke a hydraulic hose inside the boom on my bh75 backhoe. The hose runs inside the boom and there is no way to reach the fitting to replace the hose. Do I have to remove the boom cylinder? Thanks, Doug

If the cylinder is in the way and there is no other way to get to it, then yes.
Pine bush huh? Don't go to PBE, unless you are rich.

ok.. next question. Any hints for removing the cylinder.
Yes, PBE is too expensive for me. I didn't even purchase my tractor there.

To remove the boom cylinder, you will have to lower the boom as low as
you can, remove both pins, and extract the cyl from inside. If you can not lower the boom enough, you may have to lower it into a hole or remove the dipper too. Remove the lower cyl hose before trying to pull the cyl out. Not an easy job.
