As I am a frugal person by nature, I felt that the $600+ that Kubota wanted for the chute rotator kit for my B2782 snow blower a little ridiculous. I started to "shop around" for THE parts, still high in price!
Finally found on Epay a seller who was selling hydraulic motors that had seen light service(5 hours).
These motors are an exact match for the mounting holes on the blower. I now have the rotator that saves me from getting out of the cab to rotate the chute manually.
Hydraulic motor cost: $62.00
Fittings: $20.00
Hoses: I had
Gear for motor: $40.00 (70060-00698)
Total cost: $122.00
I am not associated with the Epay seller, he sells one motor per week in the $49-$65 range.

Hope this helps some of you guys out as you have helped me!!!!!

Nice find Rick!
I have a local industrial components recycler and picked my J-Series motor up for $20.00 (Got 2 for $40) for the SAME reason...I had to fab up the bracket and buy a Lovejoy but heres what mine came out like:

Spudland Dave, your photos on a previous post inspired me.
My original post "how to plumb a 2nd Hyd. Valve" left me with the additional ports for the
rotator.
Photos supplied below.
No adaption necessary, bolted right up to the flange
on the blower.
Regards,
Rick

Glad to be of service ;)
Its nice when it goes together easy...Mine took me 3 hours to do up. Pratically took me longer at Napa to get those hoses made up (literally I picked out the fittings, got everything ready, all he did was cut the hose & crimp...)
