Massey 1529 Power Beyond
Hi all
Looking for some help with hose sizes and flow rates.
I added power beyond to my Massey 1529 yesterday and it works great the only problem I have is with hose sizes. I didn't buy the whole kit from Massey, just the adapter plate and added my own fittings and hoses. The kit comes with 3/8" hoses and the adapter ports are #6 ORB. Are these a little under sized for a 7.4 GPM flow rate? I upgraded the hoses to 1/2", but it still has the restriction from the #6 ORB ports on the adapter block, I figured it would be #8 ports for that flow rate. Will the 1/2" hoses make any difference with the port already restricting the flow? Could I just use 3/8" hose like what comes with the kit, they are easier to route.
Here are some pics of the block and installation.

3/8" hose will be fine for your machine. I seriously doubt that MF would undersize hoses and fittings.
