WILLIE, you can buy a simple monoblock lever-actuated spool valve,
like the Prince unit from Northern. Don't forget the Power Beyond
sleeve, cuz your 3-PT is normally powered from the PB of the FEL
valve. You can install your new 3rd function valve between the FEL
and 3-PT. Cost will be $100 for the valve, plus a couple more hoses,
some fittings, and a mounting bracket. No need to spend $800.

What return line? If you bought a solenoid-operated diverter, it prob has
two pressure inlets from your mechanical valve, and four outlets that
go to your cylinders, 2 to one, and 2 to the other. If your cylinders are
paired, then your diverter outlets get teed into each pair.

I just checked with NorthernTool and you are right that I do not see many
explicit listings for the power beyond sleeves for their Prince valves. A
buyer would probably have to ask to get them. You won't need a power
beyond setup since you are going to divert the flow from a work circuit
on an existing valve.

I added this an electric over hydraulic control to my M6800. WR Long sells the entire kit, set up specifically for each model tractor. Mine costs around $600 if I remember correctly. My dealer installed it but it would not be too hard to do it yourself. It did require a little welding to attach the quick connect bracket to the FEL. You can go to the WR Long website to see this. They were really nice to work with.
