And this thread is dedicated to the late MadReferee. A gentleman who helped everyone here with their hydraulic questions. A guy who made a complete hydraulic neophyte like myself, believe that I could accomplish this installation unaided.
It's taken me a long time of assembling parts, making parts of the mount myself, getting all the fittings and hoses correct, and reading probably 95% of the threads on TBN concerning remotes until I was confortable that I knew what I was doing.
It was a long process, and I learned an awful lot along the way... Not only from MadReferee, but countless others here who detailed their installations. And, I thank them, one and all! I'm still no expert on hydraulics by any means, but having started knowing nothing, I've come a long way!!

Now to start..

I liked the standard Kubota Remote installation, but I don't like anything clamped to the ROPS. I also like to work off existing holes and fasteners whenever possible. Luckily, Kubota was very accommodating, and I used the bolt holes that secure the ROPS where it exits the fenders..

Heres the rough mount welded up, and drilled to accept the Cross AD 2 Spool valve that I bought from Messick's.. The guys at Messick's were more than helpful in choosing this valve.

This little item is 6061 aluminum with three 10-24 SS socket head cap screws.. I merely call it "the clamp".. It's purpose is to prevent the off center QD's from unscrewing and provide some strength to the 1/4" QD's that are offset.

Here are the photos showing the Cross AD valve painted ROPS grey and completely mocked up.. A few fittings were subsequently changed for the final installation.

And the final installation.
The steel levers supplied with the Cross valve were replaced with aluminum levers a little bit longer for finer feathering.

The following pictures show the detail of the new hoses on the hydraulic block, and the routing of the outlet hose that tees into the tank.

One of the lessons I learned was to use my local hydraulics shop for all my needs. Those with more knowledge may be able to use online suppliers more successfully than I could.
My local shop is an Eaton/Aeroquip dealer. He crimped my custom length hoses using GH-781 Green stripe Aeroquip hose, and all Tompkins and Eaton/Aeroquip fittings.
I feel better using top quality products, and there are no leaks or problems.

The final install was a bit anticlimactic, as once all the components were assembled and checked, the final installation took less than 1 hour.
I don't know how many hours were spent doing research and studying fitting catalogs, and just generally doin' my homework.
But, it was all worth it, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out!

Stay tuned for the installation of the hydro top link... and remember. Support your local hydraulics shop! When your in a jam, or need top quality products, they are your first line of defense!

Thanks Kenny.

I thinks it's appropriate that Mad's presence is still felt on this board...
