And this thread is dedicated to the late MadReferee. A gentleman who helped everyone here with their hydraulic questions. A guy who made a complete hydraulic neophyte like myself, believe that I could accomplish this installation unaided.
It's taken me a long time of assembling parts, making parts of the mount myself, getting all the fittings and hoses correct, and reading probably 95% of the threads on TBN concerning remotes until I was confortable that I knew what I was doing.
It was a long process, and I learned an awful lot along the way... Not only from MadReferee, but countless others here who detailed their installations. And, I thank them, one and all! I'm still no expert on hydraulics by any means, but having started knowing nothing, I've come a long way!!
Now to start..
I liked the standard Kubota Remote installation, but I don't like anything clamped to the ROPS. I also like to work off existing holes and fasteners whenever possible. Luckily, Kubota was very accommodating, and I used the bolt holes that secure the ROPS where it exits the fenders..
Heres the rough mount welded up, and drilled to accept the Cross AD 2 Spool valve that I bought from Messick's.. The guys at Messick's were more than helpful in choosing this valve.
