Smile adding a 3rd function valve to a 755 john deere HELP!

I want to add a valve to raise and lower a cylinder on my custom dump cart, right now im using the loader valve. Thats a pain to plug and unplug lines! My question is can i " Tee" the pressure line coming out of the pump ' run it into the valve then run a return line to the return side of the pump ( making sure theres a relief built into valve of course ) Would this work ?? my dealer acted like i had six heads ? They also told me a power beyond kit was no longer available , but that only constant flow or could i use that if i found one ???? HELP OH GODS OF THE TRACTOR!

Sometimes we need more than 18 minutes to get to you

Welcome to TBN

You cannot "Tee" any high pressure hydraulic lines-period. The hydraulic fluid, like electricity will "take the path of least resistance" and never get to your new valve.

Since the PB kit is NLA, then you will have to homebrew your setup...are you up to the task? Estimated cost will be about $300-$500 by the time you get all the stuff, and you will have to fabricate a mount for the new valve.

The PB kit is pictured below, you will basically have to build that and use lines to feed the new valve, will need to know the S/N of your machine to help with more detail-JDParts show different setups.

Do you have a shop manual by chance? Are you ready to procede?

I installed the 3rd SCV kit on my 4600 last night. I will test run and check for leaks today. Pretty easy install. The kit is NLA from John Deere. I had looked for the past 3 months for one. I found this one at Koenig Equipment, Inc in Botkins OH for $235. jddealer.deere.com/koenig/ GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They were offering a PB kit for the 4600 on Ebay. I e-mailed them and ask if they had the 3rd SCV kit I was looking for and sure enough they did. There are a lot of dealers selling on Ebay and they may have a kit to fit for you if you don't want to build one yourself. Koenig was about the 15th dealer I had emailed so don't give up if you get a bunch of no's before you find what you are looking for.

You guys are the best! My dealer said no the kit was not available , then asked if I could buy the part separate no not available ! Thanks to Mitch I called Koenig in ohio , asked Brian the same ? , no kit but the parts are available! All to piece the P/B system together , from Deere YES! Now the bad is its almost 700 bucks! ??? Is there a cheaper way Kenny?? Otherwise I'm going to get it cause I'm to lazy to keep moving lines back and forth !

You only need a few of the pieces, NOT the whole kit.

Need the S/N first.

How many spools do you want to add so I can suggest a valve?
