I have a ford 1220 and am considering purchasing a 3pt log splitter fron tractor supply. First of all anyone know if a 1220 has the power to do this? The ad says it is for a cat 1 or 2 tractor. I dont know what cat tactor mine is. (that could be a show stopper)
I went to my local New Holland dealer and they had a 3pt hitch spitter that they said would work on my 1220. He didnt seem very knowledegable..very unconvincing.
So I am up in the air looking for advise.
