    Default Basic Hydraulics Course V2.0

    I know most of you experienced tractor owners on here know all about how and why modern hydraulics systems work. My personal background, however, consists of 45+ years in electronics, so in spite of owning and operating tractors for quite a few years I have lived in the dark about open vs closed control systems, pumps, reservoirs, series/parallel and sequential valving, and such. I don't like being in the dark, so in addition to ordering a couple of good how-to books on the subject, I set out to find some freebie online basic training in the secret black art of hydraulics that would at least help me understand the lingo. Here is a little basic online guide I ran across that unlike some won't put you to sleep with math and is clearly written. Thought I'd pass it along for those who might be interested:

    Yup, Good stuff! The Army Hydraulics Manual is a good one also
