    Default 303 Tractor Fluid

Just wanted to know if anyone knows if this stuff is worth a carp. Can I use it instead of the Ford 134 fluid and be ok? Its on sale at Orschelns for $25 for 5 gallons. Thanks

what does the specs on the can say?

does it meet M2C134D spec? Most generic UTF's do...

here you do.. i did your homewok for you..

•Manufactured from base oils selected for their purity and thermal stability, this product contains a premium additive package to provide wear protection and anti-oxidant properties while being compatible with O-rings, seals and packing materials.
•Contains extreme pressure additives to protect gears and working parts of pumps and hydraulic equipment.
•Excellent water separation and anti-foaming characteristics.
•Blends safely with all OEM fluids.
    •May be used where the following fluids are recommended: AGCO, MF, White: PF821, M-1127, M-1129, Permatran®, Q-1722. Allison: C-3. Case/IH®: IH-143, -145, MS-1204, MS-120-5, MS-1206, Hy-Tran®. Caterpillar: TO-2. Ford, New Holland: ESN-M2C, 134B, C. John Deere®: j20A, B(Hy-Gard®), J14B (303), J14C.

It meets 134C spec., not the newest 134D spec.

what are you putting it in? Helps to mention that. If it's a ford / NH product from about 1998 or earlier.. it likely specs the 134C fluid...

if it's your ford 1979-1983 era model 1900 then it's more than fine.
