I have been having problems having my bucket tip down on it's own the last few months. I believe I found the problem a leak in the control valve.

Here is a picture of the leak Oil is coming out from under the boot.

The bucket raising and lowering is getting sticky and doesn't spring back like it used to. I figure I need a new master cylinder rebuild kit or something. Is anyone familiar with what is wrong?
Thanks in advance.

You probably just need to take the valve apart and clean the lever controls and the spring center mechanism. An o-ring or two might be necessary.

Is this a part time trouble or constant? Does the float work? Does it ever tilt down by itself? Is the lever stiff and is there any lube on the lever pull/push mechanism?

check your cylinder seals for leakage....makes no sense to suspect spool valve....the wear parts are in the cylinder piston...
