Hello everyone, Finally figured out how to get back on here. My nervous disability and medication, It just took me awhile to figure it out. hahaha
HELP: Recently, In April, 2012, I was using my tractor to blade the communitie Roads. Another Hyd line broke. this time, I replaced the two main lines, cause it was one of them. Also changed hdr fluid to be sure I had the water out. Used it one hour, and everything, the 3 point hitch, and the front end loader stopped working. And now I notice the PTO isn't spinning either. Dealer says maybe the screen is stopped up. Yeah right. Anyway Do you have any suggestions, what I might try now? I think the pump went out completely, but that does not explain why the PTO isn't turning now.
Also they say i have to break it in half to clean the screen. CAN'T be true. Can it? Now I have pics of the tractor on here. ok 1966 Ford 5000. With front end loader. Kelly 800 series. Thanks for your help Ervin Smith

Oh Ok, thats what they mentioned. Do I really have to break it in half to access the sucktion hose filter? Or can I access it from the top, under the seat from that big opening, where the hydrolic line goes in. ??

tried to reply to the pm, but you have your account setup to not rcv pm's.

I think you can get that filter under the hyd cover.. on a 2000/3000 you can.. but my parts manual is not at work with me.. take a look at the exploded diagram.

this also assumes your laoder is run of fthe internal hyds..e tc.

i did some editing, and tried to make it where i recieve PM ok.
Again, thanks for you help. Its great to have someone more knowlegable about tractors a person can turn too. Half the time, i do not know if a dealer even knows what they are talking about, hahaha.

To access a filter on the hyd system seems to be would be insane if you have to break the tractor in half to do so. Even a idiot would not make it that hard for the common farmer to service such a part. thats why i thought the dealer was wrong about this. It just don't make sense. haha.

Oh Ok, thats what they mentioned. Do I really have to break it in half to access the sucktion hose filter? Or can I access it from the top, under the seat from that big opening, where the hydrolic line goes in. ??

how you can remove it is to pull the lift top then you will need to pull the hyd pump and the filter should come out the pump whole you might have to remove the pto clutch pack but you shouldn't have to

you remove the lift top so you can twist on the filter to remove it
