Need three quick connects to operate dump trailer

We have a Ford 8000 with only two quick connects for the rear hydraulics. The new dump trailer has three hoses that need to be hooked up. One for the dump and two that operate the cylinder that operates the rear gate. Is there an easy way to add another quick connect or split one so it can be switched between two functions.

We dont really have any other implements on the farm that require more than one set of remotes so I dont think we need to go through the trouble of adding another set. Just need something cheap and easy.

Put Tee in the line that raises the dump bed and tie in the line from the gate. The gate should require less pressure to open than the dump bed, so when you raise bed the gate will open first then the bed will come up. Lowering will be the same, just revesed.

does the cylinder actually move the gate or does it work a lock and let the gate swing

The cylinder just operates a lock which releases the gate.

A tee and a coupler of high pressure ball valves on the cylinder lines.

that would be a little complicated to operate, and potentially dangerous possibly leaving a valve closed by mistake and popping the cylinder. a safer, and not really alot more expensive way would be, for about 85 bucks , get a small 4-way valve t the inlet it into your remote then t the return into one of the sump ports on your machine use qds and plumb it so that it stays with your trailer basically plugging and unplugging into your tractor.

How about a 3 way ball valve on the common line to each cylinder?

the trouble comes in when you shift the control valve to lower the trailer your actually charging the latch circuit at the same time which will prematurely latch the gate. i guess you could stick a ball valve there opening when you want to latch or lift stil a lot of messing around and potential problems
