new holland tn 70
My tn70 3point lift and the loader will not lift. It's like the hydraulic pump is disengaged or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The pump shaft just might be damaged.

Have you taken any pressure readings?

Have you removed a hose and placed in a bucket to see if the pump was pumping?

Are there any QD's involved.

Is the tank fluid at the proper level.

Is the right fluid installed.

More info from you might provide more answers.

Thanks J J
Fluid level seems good
Have not changed the fluid and it was working
No pressure readings
When I operate the lever for the loader nothing at all happens like there is no pressure at all, that's why I was wondering if there was a way to disengage the hydraulics that I don't know about.

Remove one of the cyl hose and see if the pump is pumping.

The pump shaft may be damaged and just spinning doing no work.

As I recall, New Holland had a notice on the TN70 or TN70A (Unsure of tractor year(s) that it covered. The pump shaft that connect to the shaft in the front right corner of th engine was too tight and would twist off when it binds too much. The notice called for a smaller shim or something. But after it occurs, I believe they had to replace the pump due to the shaft being twisted off. Let's hope its not that.
