Can't get the hitch to go up or down. Power steering, PTO, and AUX HYD's work fine but I have no pressure to the hitch. What do I need to check?

I'm a newbie.

On my tractor, under the seat, between my legs, there is a control dial, which I think controls the flow to the 3pth. If it is closed, the hitch will not move. Some leave it all the way open, some leave it in the middle setting, and some use the dial to control the hitch movement speed regularly.

If you have an operation manual, it should have a section about it.

check the linkage connection behind the cab above the aux. ports. the bolt on that connection rattles loose

I have checked those and they were fine. Where would any valves be located for the hydro's on the hitch? I hope it is not something under the rocker housing that will be a tough one to fix.
