When I have to curl with my pallet forks on unless I move the valve all the way open very fast I get backflow through the circuit and the forks drop a couple of inches before curling back properly. Is there an easy fix to this problem? It makes bulky items scary to lift.

Where would this valve be located? Before the valve block?

I think this is a known issue with the 1-series -- talk to your dealer about it. There is a fix they can apply.

I had the same problem. The dealer replaced the SCV and everything worked properly after that.

Thanks. I'll visit them tomorrow and let you know what they say!

The load check valve is usually in between the work ports.

Remove and inspect, clean, or replace.

They say the dropping is normal and all the 2000psi tractors do it

Don't buy that -- they are selling you a line of BS. It should not do that.
