Yup, it was expensive, about $800 for the pump and $20 to weld the joint.
Also one of the hose clamps on the rubber T that the leaking pipe went to was almost snapped off at the screw. We are guessing something it that which caused the angle to snap.
Its a good think I thought to clean the pipes. I saw the water squirting through the crack.Bruce
