I have a similar post under the Kubota section. For all those who like to stretch their maintenance intervals, check this out. Kubota B2630 with 256 hrs. This excess sealant (I think that's what it is) was in one of my hydraulic filters. Lots of it! It had effected steering effort, which is what led me to change the filter. I had been operating the tractor on a pretty steep slope, running a wood chipper for about half an hour. I think I must have sucked it up off the bottom of the sump. I guess that's what filters are for.
Don't put off preventative maintenance!!
