Hydraulic Cyclinder will not retract
I have a John deere 5093E that I am using a bale unroller with. The hydraulic cyclinder will open the arms of the bale unroller, but will not retract to close them. Any ideas.

Re: Hydraulic Cyclinder will not retract
Is this tractor new to you? Any other remote you can try. Switch the hoses at the quick connectors. My 4600 Ford has only lift pressure on one of the valves, same as the 3 pt (no down pressure). If I hookup my NH haybine backwards I have very little lift pressure.

This is a new tractor and I have tried connecting to different remotes and get the same results.

Re: Hydraulic Cyclinder will not retract
Do you know if you have flow and or pressure to the cyl or valve?
Install a hyd gage in the first valve IN port in a tee and it will help you with trouble shotng.
Is the cyl a DA cyl, and which valve are you using?
If using QD's, are they connected correctly?J.J.
When I works, I works hard. When I sits and thinks, I goes to sleep.
Git er done.

Re: Hydraulic Cyclinder will not retract
If the pressure is good with a test gauge I would try a different cylinder. Also I would test the hoses to the cylinder. Had a hose collapse inside and it would do that. oil would travel one way but when it returned the broken hose would bloke the flow. Just a suggestion.
