The loader came off of a late 70s MF 235 tractor i think the loader is a 255 MF loader

Tractor Data says your system is open center.

Yes, in series with pump .

Both the JD 830 & the MF are open center so you'll need to ""insert loader valve" into line coming from frt pump not tee into the line

alright i can double check the loader and unhook the quick connects and blow compressed air and it should come out the return with the joystick in idle correct??? So if so the loader needs to be hooked up INLINE with the tractor correct???? THANKS A BUNCH

Yes with levers in neutral if one blows air in the "in" port the air should come out the out port on an open-center valve.

Does Anyone know the pressure or GPH of the 74 JD 830 Hydraulic pump? The MF235 has pressure of 2300psi and around flow of 10 GPH

Boy at 10 GPH I'll bet the loader is slow going upon on the Massey:laughing:
Without a tech manual I'd guess 2000 psi and about 10 GPM on the JD

I went to tractordata.com and looked i meant 10GPM on the massey? Will the JD have enough pressure and flow to run the loader or will it be slower than christmas

I figured you made a typo with the GPH. Yes the 830 will have enough hyd flow/psi to operate a loader if you plumb it correctly to the hyd tractor system.

OK should I plumb it it right after the pump before the pressure relief valve or should i go after the PRV
