What oil (available in UK) should I use for the transmission on my 1966 MF 135 please?

I have a supply of Taurus SHPD E7 15W40 - would this be suitable?

I used any universal tractor hydraulic/transmission oil that satisfied the John Deere 303 specification in my 1964 MF135 diesel. My guess is that you can find several products in the UK that satisfy that spec.

Good luck

Look for MF Perma-Tran 821XL. My 65 135UK 3pt. works the best with the MF fluid. If you can't get it, look for something that meets an MF spec. like M1129 or Perma-Tran. Do not use straight motor oil.

What he said.
I buy MobilFluid 424 from the fuel supplier here. I'm assuming there are fuel jobbers in the UK. If not Mobil, there should be something similar.
