Default What does this turning knob do? Does it do anything for the loader? Pic attached

It is a Yanmar 1602D Grey market tractor. I know it has something to do with the tractors hydraulics but I知 not sure what. It has a bucket loader and a 3pt system. I mainly use it for the loader. Reason I ask is I lent my tractor out to a friend that messed with the knob and it seems like the lifting power has dwindled since I got it back. Any help is appreciated! Normally that would be 3 point limiter. It only limits flow from 3 point to lower slower.

Is that between your legs under the seat? That's the RoD knob... Rate of Descent. It's on the output line of the 3pt. Close it tight & your 3pt wont ever go down (assuming no leakage). Open it up & your 3pt drops like a rock when you lower it & there is weight on it. Typically you leave it somewhere in the middle.

It shouldn't affect your loader ar all.
