I'm thinking it might be nice to have the ability to have a rear remote on my MF 1225. Mostly, I'm thinking in terms of running an old sickle bar mower along the banks of my pond. I have three hoses coming out the right side of the tractor to power the FEL. My thought is that there should be a way to rig up a remote that simply taps into these hoses when the FEL is off the tractor. Am I all wet, or is this doable?

I think you can tap into that front valve block and add hoses to the rear and still use the loader and a rear attachment. At least I can on my tractor. There should be power beyond. Jerry isn't that the case on the 1225? John

Or you can tap in a switcher valve assembly, either manual or electric. Or just use quick connects to connect to the loader hoses when the loader is not on the tractor. Several options here.
The power beyond is of course the nicest option. But the quick connects might be the cheapest option. |
