Default Rear hydraulic remote?

I'm thinking it might be nice to have the ability to have a rear remote on my MF 1225. Mostly, I'm thinking in terms of running an old sickle bar mower along the banks of my pond. I have three hoses coming out the right side of the tractor to power the FEL. My thought is that there should be a way to rig up a remote that simply taps into these hoses when the FEL is off the tractor. Am I all wet, or is this doable?

Yes, you can do it. The hoses should go to the loader and then to the control valve that you are wanting to add. If your 1225 came with a owners manual for the loader, it should have some drawing that would help you.

I think you can tap into that front valve block and add hoses to the rear and still use the loader and a rear attachment. At least I can on my tractor. There should be power beyond. Jerry isn't that the case on the 1225? John

Yes, that's right John. If I was doing another tractor, I would look into adding the Power beyond kit. It would simplify adding an extra valve.

Or you can tap in a switcher valve assembly, either manual or electric. Or just use quick connects to connect to the loader hoses when the loader is not on the tractor. Several options here.
The power beyond is of course the nicest option. But the quick connects might be the cheapest option.
