PTO hydraulic pump on non-live pto....
isn't going to work, is it? Push in the clutch and the hydraulic system is dead.
Just looking for more hydraulic flow, maybe a little more pressure.

Re: PTO hydraulic pump on non-live pto....
It will work.. but as you mention.. dies when clutched.. what ya using it for? a backhoe? Should work fine like that.
Next bet is a aux pump if your tractor is setup for it..( for instance my NH is setup to remove a blank plate and add an engine mounted -gear driven- pump.. etc.. ) next than is a front stinger or crank mounted pump, then next would be a do-it-yourself engine mounted pump..like a pow steer pump.. etc..

I'm looking for a little more gpm's, and maybe a little more pressure. 1980 AC 5020, haven't looked for any auxiliary mounting. Probably not there anyway.
