My tractor has a crack in the shaft tunnel behind the knuckle on the left side (where the shaft tunnel is thinnest) Is this a problem on this model or have i been unlucky???

I don't know, but I've never heard of it personally. Any good welder should be able to put the fix to it, so long as any seals or other heat sensitive parts near to it are removed, or protected by a wet towel if able.

It occurs occasionally, usually when a loader is mounted on the tractor.

Do a search of my previous post's, I posted a list of parts suppliers, of whom, Leonard Shaeffer is one.
