    Default Iseki Landleader 255 ?

I am new to the Iseki and am looking at a Iseki Landleader 255. Is there anything I should be looking out for? It is 4WD and has 875 hrs. Are parts available for this? And what is this worth? It does has power steering and a cab. Thanks for any assistance. It is for sale by a private party.

Default Re: Iseki Landleader 255 ?

Hi Steve, While parts are available, they are expensive. I have Iseki and Yanmar tractors, and the Iseki is a nicely built, quality unit. That being said, I prefer the common Yanmar tractors for a number of reasons, parts availability being an important one. I have had to machine commonly available tie rod ends to fit my Iseki and have had to make Universals because of prohibitive costs. I like Iseki's, no doubt, but they are more expensive than the Yanmars to work on. If the tractor is inexpensive and in good shape, it would probably balance out over time because of low initial cost, but it would have to be a reasonable buy for it to work.
