I bought an Iseki TX 1500F with a FEL a couple of months ago.
I had to remove the FEL in order to reweld a couple of brackets.
Once the FEL was removed I started the tractor and cracked the case of the hydraulic pump.
Would my not reconnecting the quick connects cause the hydraulic pump case to crack by building to much pressure in the system?
If not, what else would have caused the case to crack?
Thanks

hi,you more than likely you have an open circuit hydraulics on your tractor and disconnecting fel without putting loop in to keep circuit when tractor starts the pressure from pump just busts weakest point ie pump casing because there is no relief valve in pump for pressure

The two hoses the feed the loader valve have full pump pressure and flow anytime the engine is running, so when you remove the loader these two lines MUST be connected together.

It's an expensive lesson for sure-sorry for your troubles and good luck.
