If you could add a photo and describe if all is operational and runs good, or not, that would help a lot.

Everything is operational except the hazards/turn signals. Some wear, but overall its in good shape.

Well, just my estimate, but the 27HP, 4x4 tractor alone should be worth from $3500 to $4K, and the loader would add another $1000 to $1500 to the overall price...so about $4500 to $5500 in my opinion, without seeing it. Appearance is important for the upper figure, no rusty wheels or torn seat.

My neighbor has a Bolens G274, and I have worked on it a few times.
Thankfully, we have not needed to buy many parts. It has a simple
crash box tranny, no PS, no ROPS, but it works. I will be trying to sell
it for him for about $4500.

I can supply most parts new or used for the G274. I have a parts tractor.

I bought my G274 from an auction this spring for $3,250 with no loader.

A crashbox is an unsynchronized transmission. In their simplest incarnation,
they use straight cut gears and require the input and output shafts to be
stationary in order to mesh. This means your tractor has to be at full stop
before engaging any gear, including all fwd and reverse gears. I had one,
a 99 Kubota L2500DT. Ugh.

These seem to be going away for the newest of compact tractors, but there
are many of them still around, even on recently made budget CUTs.

Nowadays, even gear tractors usually have at least a synchronized shuttle
for easily switching from FWD to REV. Some have fully synchro-ed trannies,
and the best gear trannies are shifted with servos and wet clutches. Unless
some think the new CVTs (New Holland) are the best.
