Seems as though the mower requires a front PTO. Sadly I dont have one. Any of you guys use a Brush hog on your machines? I am in the market for one to mow the acreage I have up north. I am thinking a 48" cut is about the maximum for this machine. Happy to hear thoughts or leads for something affordable and used.

The front PTP shaft just bolts to the engine damper pulley,
Surprised yours is missing..
look hard it under all the FEL frame.
There is on on Ebay.

You probably cant use a belly mover with the subframe FEL/Bachoe.

Watch out for used 3pt movers.
Some of the (older) Japaneses tractors spin the rear PTO CCW.
I believe ours are all the standard US/EU CW rotation.
Plus with high speed 3pt attachments you should use an overrun gear.

I guess this must be the place that the take off gets installed, but there's not much room for it with the FEL frame in the way.

I found a starter switch on ebay, I know that you were looking for one. Bolens Iseki 1502H Start Switch | eBay The front PTO adapter installs between the front bumper bracket and the radiator grill like in the photo below. I wouldn't mind the belly mower, but with my R1 ag tires, I would just tear the lawn up. I do want to eventually get a 4ft brush hog. I know that they are all over craigslist, and new at TSC.

It should be behind the small white plate that is below the radiator screen. You will have to remove the two bolts on either side to expose it.

Great pix of the front PTO belly cutter,
Like I said fat chance getting belly cutter under the unit with
the FEL/backhoe sub frame.
But a snow blower might fit.

Years ago on my old g154 that had no FEL/Backhoe
I found a v-drive pulley that fit the front PTO
I welded up a bracket and mounted a Meyers Snowplow (truck type) hydo-pump to it.
I weld fabricated a strong subframe lift and push bar from heavy angle Iron
then hooked up a 7' Meyer Snow blade to it worked like a champ.
And it look cool!!!
My Buddie pushes snow with it for years

I also connected a 3000 watt 220VAC generator to it.......
The generator was from a standalone unit that had a dead BS gas engine.
That was a different story,
These cheepo Generator are real fussy about RPM,
just a few rpm to low or high and they put out nothing.
It was hard to keep tractor RPM constant without a real governor.
I started to make a snowblower from 2 walk behind unit welded together
but we trade that tractor for a Bass Boat.

Warning Warning ........
Don't operate tractor without Backhoe !!!!
It will tip over !!!
It needs the rear weight of the backhoe.

Rest of story .....
I haven't got around to reconnecting my back hoe.
last weekend I need to cut the grass.
Not a big deal, but my 42" 14hp MTD riding mower need the blades sharpened.
So I did what I've done many times before.
Hooked the FEL up to the front of MTD riding mower,
I'll hang the sucker almost vertical 4 feet in the air and then take the die grinder to the blades.
So as usual I pulled the Iseki around to the MTD (not to square) hooked up a chain,
Stood beside the Iseki and pulled the FEL up control,
FEL was 3-4 feet up when the entire rear end of the Iseki when in the air,
and started tipping sideways, I literally had to hold it by the FEL frame
with both hands to stop it from going over.
Then use my elbow to lower FEL.

Not gona do that again!!!

Dave
