Re: NH/MA G154 G174 tx1300 TX1500 TX2140 TX2140
Hi,
I'm Dave (new here 3 days ago).
I live in central NH.
About me (my tractor)
Me and a buddie had an old TX1304 (2cyl Iseki)
that I grafted a Meyers 7' power angle plow to.
It had a draw blade and dozzen of home made atachments.
A real "red neck" tractor.
A few years ago we traded it for a bass boat.
Buddie bought a MF 1528 (AKA new Iseki)
I missed the TX1300 so I bought a TX2140F (3cyl Mitsubutsi)
It has a FEL and Backhoe made by an English company Pollymark.
What do you have ?

Happy to have you Kevin - I'm a part time Mainer myself. I've got 90 acres of vacation wilderness in North New Portland that I do bring my Bolens up to on occasion.

I managed to get down to the tractor today to take a few more photos. I've got a call scheduled with Jim Ange tomorrow and will likely have this on a trailer and up to his place soon, so I am wondering how the backhoe disconnects. Now I only need to find the brochures that came with the tractor...

Welcome,
Last time I check Maine was New England.
I was starting to think there were only 3 of these compact TX Isekis in
all the New England states.
Were hoping to share info on these tractors.
We bumped into each other on a thread Andrew (NHmitch) started.

Clutch repair is done.
Just got my tractor back from Jim Ange.
Tractor Restoration Services, Complete Tractor Restorations & Repairs, Jim Ange, Sandown, NH, 603-361-0825
It's running great.
Jim came in right at $1500 best guess qoute.
Took him longer than he thought
Say this if the smallest "real" tractor he's ever worked on.
Tight space took longer than he expected.
Plus he had to rebuild (weld fill and bore out)
my clutch throw ot bearing carryer because it was so loose.
He believe thats what killed the arms on the presure assmbly.
He also made spacer shims for all the linkage.
The clutch has never felt this good.
Coste were about
$350 in parts
18 hours labor @ $65 hour
Dave
