No I didn't use por15. I sandblasted the battery tray/ fuel tank holder
until there was no rust. Then rustoleum primer and high temp engine paint.

I sanded the dash to prep it for paint and I
found what I think is the original color and
dictator for life ahhh I mean my lovely wife
thinks its close to ivory white. What would
be close in color to use ? I'm not trying
to do a concourse restore just preserving
tractor and have it look ok.

I used ford grey, and it matched just about as close as I could find. The original color is slight yellowish, however I am not sure how much of that was from age. When I look at ads from when these were new, they look like the ford grey. I bought Valspar restoration paint/ford grey at tractor supply, however they changed brands that they carry, however the new brand matches equally. Hope that helps a bit. The reason I had asked about the por15, was I had to use that on my battery tray after having a battery leak, and the not being able to control the acid, even with multiple cleanings, and several coats of paint, but I had a bad leak when my voltage regulator went. Sounds like you are making great progress!

This is the new ford grey paint on the tractor:

While pondering what color to paint the body parts, I removed the three point
    hitch to sandblast and repaint.

I have the frame sanded, cleaned and repainted back to the transmission.
I also installed the modified clutch pedal and both brake pedals.
I installed the left foot board and the firewall.
I also have cleaned and repainted the fuel tank. I removed the starter
to clean and paint the engine block behind the starter and to
also clean and repaint the starter itself. My new air filter
    came in the mail today.

I finished the wiring harness and decided on antique white to paint the body parts.
I painted the dash so far. I put the harness back into the dash and put
the dash back onto tractor. After I had dash back on I was not happy
with it and I forgot to repair the Idiot lights so I took it back off. I did
come up with a way to repair the idiot lights. Two of the lights
had one of the two nubs that hold the light socket in the body
broken off. I used 2-56 size cone socket set screws to replace the
nubs. That turned out pretty good. I also removed the chrome cover
from the glow plug heater signal to clean off the rust. I used an old
trick of rubbing the rusty chrome with aluminum foil. While
this method doesn't completely repair the rust, it
does help remove a lot of it. Here are a few pictures.

I removed the seat and fenders to clean and repaint the transmission
and differential. I will weld the cracks in both fenders before painting them.
I found the rubber washer/gasket that goes between the seat bracket
and top of gear case was missing about half of itself. The transmission
filler tube is welded to seat bracket and the rubber gasket seals
to bracket to the gear case when they are bolted together.
I drove the tractor on Thursday and it was fun. The repaired
clutch pedal is working good but there is a lot of rust to
ware off the flywheel. I was able to see the fingers on the
pressure plate and they look like new. I believe the original
owner had a new clutch and pressure plate and release/through out
bearing installed shortly before he passed away then tractor
sat under a tarp for the next 10 to 12 years. Also check the first
picture of the new paint on dash next to the old paint
    on the hood.
