Here is a short video of tractors first drive before I removed
    fenders and seat.

I hadn't had a reason to refill or change my transmission fluid yet, but I never would have looked under the seat. Thanks for saving me some time.

Great photo journal! The fill opening for the transmission/gear fluid is under the seat, and the dipstick to check it is right next to the shift lever. There are three bolts that you have to open to drain it under the tractor. I takes quite a bit!

I had time on Saturday so I removed the fenders
and the wheels. I am going to take the fenders
to work so I can weld the cracks in both fenders.
The wheels I removed so I can paint the transmission
and differential sections of the tractor. I am also
going to repaint the wheels while I have them off.
I'm also going to change the transmission oil
    at this time.

Looking good. One thing I've learned on the rims is they are highly susceptible to corrosion on the inside. If possible, pull the tires, clean, prime, and paint the insides of the rims also. They can be difficult to find in good shape. Avoid tubes if you can (ideally replace with new tubeless tires - might want to switch to ags if you do this but realize budgets come into play on these tractors). You may find the rims leak but a little welding can fix that or, if it's along the bead, some bead sealer. Good luck.
One nice thing about being average is you're not alone.

Here are a few pictures of the fenders. I welded the cracks in both fenders
and used some body filler to smooth them out. I put the blade back together
while I was waiting for the body filler to harden. I also finished painting the rear
    of tractor.

Here is a picture of the hydraulic hoses that are getting tired.
I will eventually have to replace them. I would like to
find more of the plugs / dust caps for the ends of the hoses.

Started to work on the very rusty seat.
I removed the vinyl seat cover and found that the
foam padding under the cover was soaked with water.
I have kept the tractor covered with a large tarp
when I'm not working on it so that water has been
in the foam for years. I am sand blasting the pan
at work and after that I'm going to weld plates
on pan to cover the cracks and rust through. I need
to repair a tear in the vinyl also. Need to look
into that process. Here are a few pictures.

Oh man. If it were me I would chicken out and look for a replacement seat. But you seem to have the energy to tackle this. Nice work and I look forward to more pictures.

They sell the replacement seat on eBay, but it is $109. It would work as an OEM replacement if that what you wanted, and you can't fix the seat:
