FRXS55, you've done a great job. I had a G152 and wish I had your abilities....think you're gonna be good for 1,500 hours when done!

I finished the seat and put it on and I reinstalled the hydraulics for the front blade.
I really wanted to push a big pile of leaves into the back of my property so
I tried out the tractor with the blade. Well the turf tires lack much grip
so I put it 4 wheel drive. Bad news, the 4 wheel drive doesn't work.
I brought the tractor back up to the garage and used the blade to lift
the front off of the ground and spun the front wheels. The front diff
seems to be working as it should. Everything spins as it should clear
back to the transmission. There seems to be no engagement of the
front drive from the transmission. The lever for the 4 wheel shifts
but something is askew inside. Any thoughts ?

Have you confirmed that the front drive shaft isn't turning when in 4wd? I'd jack up the rear end, engage 4wd and see what happens just to be sure. This test should help confirm where the problem is. I think it could be possible you might still have a problem in the front axle with a stripped gear in one of the front final drives which may "appear" to be working unde little load but then slip under real loads. The drive pinion in the tranny may also have issues, or the 4wd lever could be slipping on the shaft.

I have had some thoughts about the clutch not completely disengaging. I found that I could move the drive shaft from side to side about a 1/16" and this had me thinking that the pilot bearing in the end of the crank might be part of my clutch problems. So with the 4 wheel drive not working along with the clutch problem I decided to split the tractor. I found that there was no pilot bearing in the crank but someone had stuffed a make shift sleeve in there. This was causing a lot of drag on the drive shaft so clutch wasn't going to disengage completely. Drive shaft now is beat on the clutch end that would go into the pilot bearing. Clutch disk looks like new as does the pressure plate. Next problem is the splines are about shot on the transmission input shaft. Also found that the gear case cover for the 4 wheel drive gears was broken and welded at one time. And whenever they were fixing the gear case they put the front drive engagement gear on the shaft backwards! Four wheel drive hasn't engaged sense someone welded case and it never was going to in there backwards Here are some pictures.. Whats scrap metal going for these days.

Don't give up yet. Sound like you'll need a new flywheel and some transmission parts but I think you came too far to be thinking along these lines. In an absolute worst-case scenario you have a lot of valuable parts you could sell. I'd take some time to find what you need. It's out there and worth finding. Sounds like you may already have options from another member.

Has anyone put a clutch in their iseki and if so what does it have for
a pilot bearing? I can't find any listings for one for a tx1300 and
it doesn't look like there ever was one in mine.

I just got done with two clutches, one on a KE70 and one on a KE75. I *think* the pilot bearing is part of the flywheel but I didn't look that close and didn't get good pictures. It's either the flywheel or the end of the crankshaft. The bearing is just a cone shaped hole with a bronze sleeve in it, perforated to hold some grease. I'm not sure if it's replaceable by itself but I'd think it should be. Not sure if yours is in a condition to allow easy refurbishment or not though or the total extent of the damage.
