I guess that would be with $3,300 down and no sales tax?

Seezer -

Why are they charging the ~$300 for the 0%? What is that for?

I know the insurance you need from John Deere when financed through them is something like $160.00. It is actually a good deal, covers just about everything and anything dealing with complete loss.

My homeowners insurance is what I used for my JD financing.

Well, I ordered my 2520 with the 200CX FEL, 53" bucket, 46BH with 13" bucket the other day from my local dealer and it should be in sometime within the next 2 weeks. However, on a side note, as my luck would have it, while surfing the web the other night, I came across a JD dealer in Indiana and saw that they were advertising 2008 2520 200CX FEL machines with 62D MMM for just under $19,000. On a whim I sent the dealer an email asking how much one of his units would be with a 46 BH, 53" front bucket upgrade, a 13" BH bucket and shipping to NJ. Well, I woke up yesterday morning and read his response- $24,500 to my door. I was somewhat bummed because the price I got from my local dealer (with tax and assembly/installation of the loader and backhoe) was about $1,000 more and I didn't order a mower deck with mine. After thinking things over a bit, even though I'm paying more to buy from my local dealer and I'm not getting as much as I would if I went with the Indiana dealer, maybe I'm better off sticking with the local dealer. For one, even though it's a good chunk of money, I think its good to support a your local business owners. Second, I would hope that if I had an urgent and/or major issue with the tractor, that the local dealer would make it a priority to correct it. Either way, at the end of the day the difference in price really doesn't matter because the tractor is gonna be totally awesome and worth every penny.

Ryan

BTW, according to my dealer, the insurance on my deal is included in the monthly payment. I think the total insurance cost was under $250.

Never look back it will drive you nuts, always something cheaper after the fact and YOU will never spend the last of your money before you are gone, it's impossible.

Agree with Gizmo2 as you will almost certainly see a better deal later in most cases! LOL!
