Default 2520 clearance 3 point

It was hard to believe that John Deere let a tractor be released with a clearance problem on the the 3 point hitch. I made a set of 1.5" wide wheel spacers to take care of this issue.I read all the posted sites after I purchased
my tractor and it would of been nice to know before hand that this was a problem.I don't know if the 1.5" extra width is going to cause stress on axles and would like to know someone else opinion on this. I made spacers 8" dia.
with counterbore for hub and a boss for the rim and reversed tires from
side to side so I gained a inner tire width measurement of 30" anybody
have same issue or suggestions? Thanks

Welcome to TBN

There has been LOTS of threads on this very issue like THIS one. A couple people have also made spacers with no ill-effects. Try the search function to read more...

Get an I-MATCH, and mount the 3 point arms on the inside of the I-Match. Mine has like 3 inches of clearance on each side.
Its no big deal, and most definately LESS Stress on the rear end of the tractor than by having huge spacers.

OOppppppssss, I see my 3 point arms were still in the standard position in that pic, so disreguard that. Just mount them on the inside now.

I emailed JD and asked about this. I got a reply similar to what someone else on this forum stated. They said there was a fix coming and it would be out some time in May. They didn't say what the fix was. I also asked my dealer to check this out but he hasn't heard back from factory rep. yet.

I have not heard a word, the dealer acts like I'm the only one with this problem. I'm also having problem with the quick hitch mount on my 2520.I know whats wrong but the dealer and JD don't.I am very disgusted with JD right now.I hope JD comes thru in the end? Good Luck

The replacement 3PH is now available on the JD Parts website.

See file.

Looks like they just re-bent the arms into a new shape. $150 per side for just new arms. Cheaper than spacers.

I am curious about how much clearance this actually gives you?

I called to check pricing today, was quoted $300 per link/arm. (makes sence since the original arms are about that price.
