NWP,

Here is the detailed drawing of the 3PH for your 4110. What don't you have? Did you get manuals for the tractor and attachments?

There is at least 2 members hear that have the 4110/46 setup, I just can't remember them now

Hi kennyD,
Thanks for posting the diagram. You probably were working on it and didn't see my post 5 minutes before you posted. I marked the parts in red that the JD dealer rep said I would likely need. I haven't taken the backhoe off to verify yet, but may have to do that at some point.

Late news: Just heard from the seller that I purchased my 4110 from and he said that he thinks he may have found the parts, and if so, will ship them to me this week. If/when I receive them, I will compare with the diagram to see if everything is included. I sure hope so. I will advise. Thanks again.

You are correct Pat, I posted that and had to run out...

If you are still missing stuff when the seller sends you what he has, you should encourage him to help out with the cost of the replacement parts, as the tractor is semi-useless without a 3PH!

Wow! That's a lot of money for the 3pt hitch parts! I guess I need to be more careful with mine when I remove them. (like put them in a safety deposit box ) Seriously, you have a nice tractor that should serve you well- At least mine has. What have you decided about the mower? If you use the belly mower there are additional brackets needed at the 3pt hitch (I suppose they would come with the mower?) I have a 60MM I would sell you if your ever coming thru Indiana! Jason

Hi JasonL,
Thanks for your offer. I've considered the suggestions posted earlier and there seems to be trade-offs with both the MMM and a RMM. Since I have a 46BH and would have to take it off to mount either, I'm probably going to get a RMM. Since the RMM would also serve as rear ballast, I wouldn't have to take off the FEL either. (The less work the better ) I have about 3 acres of tall grass and a lot of blackberry bushes. I cannot find a used LX4 as a few of you have suggested. Apparently they are not made anymore. The dealer showed me a new Frontier RC1048 which appears to be the same thing or very similar, for $900 without the optional chains.

I've read on this forum that it (at least the LX4) does a very nice job cutting lawns. But the dealer did not agree, especially with the R4 tires I have. I guess I will just have to try it out. If it does an acceptable job, maybe I can buy the chain guards for it later, if I want to cut the lawns around the house.

I was thinking about getting the iMatch hitch too. BTW, I saw in a new brochure at the dealer, something called an AutoHitch. However, the dealer said it not only costs more than the iMatch, but you would need an additional part for each attachment. For the extra $$, he personally didn't think it was worth it. He's probably right, but anyone else have an opinion on this?

Also, part of my payback to my wife for buying the tractor is to make a vegetable garden for her. Sounds like a good excuse/reason to get a 647 Tiller. Any comments on this unit from anyone?

Answer to previous question by KennyD: I did order a full set of manuals on CD from jdparts.com. Should arrive today.

No freaking way!!! There is no way these parts could cost this much. Maybe they do but that is robbery. At most $500 and I would scream at that price.

I'm gonna ask my dealer how much the parts are for my tractor. If they're anywhere near that I'll never use my 3 pt again!

Did that inlcude them coming to pick it up, doing the work, and delivering it back to you? I'm half tempted to call my buddy who works at a local dealer here in OH and get prices on those parts. I am absolutely floored.

Welcome to the site. I'm sure you will enjoy the 4110. Alot of good information passes through here. My 4110 has the 60 mmm. It cuts fine but I wish it was a little more user friendly in the on and off department.
I'm sure the guy that you bought the tractor from knows more that he is telling you. If he is the second owner chances are he neglected to state in the ad the 3 point was missing. Attachments are removed frequently and he would have noticed the missing items.
I don't think used would be easily found as it is a very popular machine and the 3 point is a very useful feature. Good luck in your search !

Well, I finally received almost all of the missing parts of the 3-point hitch yesterday! The person I purchased my 4110 tractor apparently had never used it and put it aside and forgot about it. But he found them and shipped to me. Did an inventory, and all parts are accounted for except the top bar. My dealer said a genuine JD replacement part costs $280, while an aftermarket one would cost $25-30. He suggested for my use, the aftermarket brand would be just fine, so that's what I ordered.

Along with that, I ordered what I would most likely need to repair the front axle leak. While I was at it, I also decided to order a few misc parts like... an iMatch Quick Hitch, Frontier RC1048 and a 647 tiller.

That's great news. I noticed this just popped up on our local CL today:
