Fortunately I have mostly flat land but there are a couple slopes where turning around may be interesting- like you said getting the feel for it may take a little time.
I will be doing the same thing and adding my own radio as well
This 7 Iron was $1850 and was hardly used. Well beyond stability assistance, mowing without considering the extra length in back of me in some of my areas is a good thing. I have plans to expand my grass area a bit. I think I can add almost 1/4 acre.

What is kinda funny now is that one of my dealerfs had some new 7Iron II decks, 60" for $1200 - $1300 installed available and forgot to tel me. I might have done it.

Well, the 3520 is back from its vacation getting the warranty repair. Looks good with the MMM installed, and now begins the "see if the Turf specials with fit" operations. Hard to tell at first look. I do get the impression that if i stay narrow they will fit, but I would prefer the wide setting like on my 4310. So, hopefully I can get the rears switched over to the new wheels, and then start with them on the 3520. Then it is over to the fronts. I will post pics when I get into the operation.

OBTW, it now has a little brother (2004 GX255), so now I have a tandem for grass cutting. I will get back at using the flail mower too - it will be relegated to brush cutting at this point. All units fit in my detached garage so everything is fine!

Well i put in about 3 hours of time today on the unit. I took the loader off - did it in the shed/Garage, and the wood structure shifted while I was doing it and the loader jumped (first time off too), and a slight boinkoccurred, and the LH, lower windsheild will be getting replaced this week or next - feel pretty dumb about that one as I swore I was gonna make sure that did not happen and add some precautions (Extra rubber to cover the window down there - Think I am just gonna use some sheets of horse mat and double them up). The New window is only <$98 so I am gonna order it and be done with it. The horse mat is only ~$45 or less so thatis an easy pickup too.

Tractor seemed much more stable on the slopes with the loader off, I can actually mow the entire property with it, but I think i will still keep the back-up to get the one or two scary sloped runs. My son or one of my daughters can have some fun running that unit down the slopes.

The Turf Specials really make a difference, I was really comfortable after about an hour of getting used to the unit with those Turfs. A range was actually kind fast. Climbed slopes with A, B, and C. tractor was a lot of fun and was very nimble on the turns and other movements i was trying. Dare I say cat-like? AC was fine, and the overall impression was very good. I will install the Auto Cruise option in the coming weeks. i will post pics of the unit without the loader on soon too!
