Does anyone have trouble going form the rear pto to the mid pto? My 2520 won't switch from the rear to the mid without turning the pto on and then off. Hopefully it is not operator error!

It's normal, the gears need to be synced up and frequently you'll need to run the PTO a bit before they'll mesh.

Yup, perfectly normal. They are straight cut gears, just the on the range selector.
