To answer your question I guess anything is possible, but I would not recommend adding a loader to a JD 216. The hydraulic system you have on the tractor now does not have the capacity to operate a loader and the tractor is way too small to do any useful work. Also the cost involved would be way more than the value of your existing JD 216. The picture posted by another member is of a JD 318 which is a totally different tractor and even on this tractor a loader is near useless in my opinion. Trust me I have owned one.

The Quick-way in the above picture operates off a pto-driven hydraulic pump. It also became available for free after box-blading a woman's driveway!
The owner has lots of toys, and true, he would chose his larger tractors for the big jobs, but you would be surprised at what that 318 can do!
