if you search this forum for THERMISTOR , it says that are heat resistors that control the amps to the pull side of the solenoid. They only talk about them on the 4000 series tractors. The problem they describe is exactly the problem i am having. Thanks again for all your help.

I did a search on JD parts for a "THERMISTOR" for the 2305 and came up blank.
I then did a search on the THERMISTOR part number (LVU10323) and it only listed the 4000 series, so I gota believe yours doesn't have one. |

Ok guys, it's fixed... Problem: k2 pull-in timer relay!! A local JD dealer gave me a step by step procedure to find problem and after about a hour of research , i found it. If anyone ever has this type of problem , let me know and i'll be glad to send you the info. i received from JD. Thanks again for everyones help.

KHughes, can I ask that you post that info here? When you search the site and find a thread like this that ends like that, well maybe you'll be around in 2 years to answer, or maybe you won't
