Just got my new tractor today 2305 with 62 mmm, it has the independent lift. The problem I am having is how do you get it to lock in the up position,I got the knob turned (finally) to the lock position and try and let the pressure off and the mower drops???????? Please help the newbie and great forum Thanks Tim D.
does it have anything to do with the rear draft arms.

Lift the mower to full hieght with the hydraulics. Then turn the knob fully clock wise. Let the mower down till it stops. It's about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch drop. You cannot turn the knob with the mower deck hanging on the depth control linkage. If it drops more than the 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch it may need adjustment.
