Well, I had a chance to try out my 455 and snow blower that I had delivered last week. (We had a "light dusting" of 10-12 inches of white stuff yesterday.) In November/December we call it "snow" but come March/April it is referred to as something unmentionable. Anyway, what a blast! That 455 went through the wet snow like no one's business, jacking it into the trees like a Barry Bonds bomb...steroids and all! Made the sight of snow a bit easier to take. Hopefully Mother Nature is growing weary; I know I am.

I also got to use my blower for the first time Tuesday. We got 6" of very wet snow over night. I bought the blower used Febuary 14 & not gotten a chance to use it until yesterday. Just Sunday I had given up using it this year & cleaned it up & put it away until next year. After seeing how wet the snow was I almost put the blade on in stead of the blower. I decided to try the blower out & it did a great job . I could not believe how well it handled the wet snow. I did plug it up twice when I hit some low spots that had standing water under the snow. The blower & wet snow worked the 455 hard. I have had the 455 for over 2 years & this was the first time I ever got it to blow black smoke.
